Request: ring for the 50th birthday of an adoptive mother; child (initials KD) long awaited and adopted at age 3; the recipient is a very strong woman, creative yet elegant, who loves to stand out; therefore, a ring with classic yet distinctive taste to be worn daily; I am asked to incorporate the child’s initials into the design, but in a “discreet” way, readable only by his mother; strict requirement, “a big ruby, really big!”.
